Different video systems are in
place around the world. The most common are NTSC
(USA), Secam (France)
and Pal (Australia and
most of Europe).
The most widely used domestic video
tape is VHS. In appearance a tape from America will
look exactly the same as a tape from Australia. The
difference is the way in which the information is recorded.
Playing an American tape in an
Australian VHS player will display a variety of different
results from no image to a black a white picture, depending
on the combination of television and video machine you
use at home.
At Storm Studios we charge overseas
conversions in 30 minute increments. You pay only for
the program length - Not the tape length.
